Neighborhood (CYRUS) family in need of assistance.

2/26/10 - Alax Cyrus-Hanson, a 7 year neighborhood old boy  was at a birthday party Jan 2nd or 3rd and fell into an icy pond and was under the ice for approximately 1 hour.   He was pulled out by a rescue diver flown by care-flight to Children's.   He was in critical condition for a long time, but gradually he began to make minor progress.   He has a very long way to go, but it's been a miracle that he has made it this far. Originally he was suppose to be coming home in about another month, but plans have changed and he'll be home in a week or two. The family is going to have to make a lot of changes at their house to accommodate Alax.   They will need to build handicap ramps and install flooring on their 1st floor to replace their carpet. If you're able to help in any way, please contact the family's babysitter, Celeste Dotson,  at Pomcpom@yahoo.com or 614-581-7490.

Additionally, the association is collecting donations for the family. You can contribute by sending in a donation with your annual dues or by using the Association Mailbox. - thank you!

Last, there will be a Balloon Launch for Alax at Stewart Auto Group in Pataskala. Everyone is invited! Date to be announced.
