Barrington Ridge Association News

The Budget: Everyone needs to set a budget, and our neighborhood association is not unlike your household. We meet every year to set a budget and work with funds available. We know that it is important to stick to the budget. This year, 2010, we have set the annual lot payment at $105.00 per lot, due on March 25th. When we do not receive payment from dues, then the budget is compromised. We have done our best to work with funds each year. If you have not or can not pay your dues, please contact us asap. It is very important that we set up a payment plan to receive payment. We, as your neighbors, understand the economic situation, and are very willing to work with each homeowner to get any and all past dues paid. We thank everyone for all the help and support we have received though out 2010 and we look forward to a great new year.

Street Lights: Many of you have expressed concern over the many streets lights that are out, in the neighborhood. We are also concerned. It is not only harder to navigate our streets, it invites unwanted activity. We have contacted the City of Pataskala, which informs us, right now, the city has suspended all light bulb changing in the city, due to budget constraints. We, as a neighborhood, have offered to pay for the bulbs, but that too has been struck down. Because the city “owns” the light posts, we are unable to change the bulbs ourselves. We will continue to work with the city to come to a mutual agreement that will make both parties happy. In the mean time, we encourage everyone with lamp posts or garage door lights to turn them on, to increase the light in the neighborhood. We thank everyone for their patience and hope to have better news in the future.

NeighborhoodDiYanni Homes: Many of you may be wondering about the empty lots currently owned by DiYanni Homes. The board was approached by a title company to provide the payoff for all the lots. Lot #162, was purchased in late October by an individual. We have not been informed when construction will begin. Monogram Homes will be building the home. We released that lot free from all liens, once we received payment from DiYanni Homes. We were told, the remainders of the lots are going to have a December sale date. We are in the process of confirming the sale and will provide everyone with more information when we receive it.

Notice!!

Please do not use the empty lots for any purpose. Please do not park or leave your personal items on the lots. - Thank you!

Snow Removal!

Per the city’s snow removal policy, road crew’s do not plow or salt subdivisions but it looks like the special circumstances that make Barrington Ridge so beautiful, also makes us eligible for some winter help!  So, please be aware when parking on the streets that snow plows will be attending to our roads.  Let’s all make it a bit easier for the plows to manage our streets.

Association Purpose Statement:
We strive to make Barrington Ridge an enjoyable, aesthetic, and desirable place to live. We seek to do this through social activities, neighborhood beautification, and fulfilling agreements made to neighbors.
