Barrington Ridge Association News

Volunteers Needed:

Are you an Electrician or a Mason?  Our entryways could use some electrical work and work on the stone walls.  We are in need of some professional help/advise.  Please contact us at barringtonridgeassociation@yahoo.com if you are able to help or give us your professional opinion.  Thank you.

Street Trees:

Spring is here and please keep in mind that the street trees by your house is your responsibility to keep maintained.  The post office has contacted us to ask us to keep the limbs around the mailboxes trimmed so that the mail carrier is safe delivering your mail.

Street Lights: If you are wondering about the street lights, you are not the only one. We have contacted AEP, The Energy Coop and The City of Pataskala , in regards to this issue. We have found out that the city owns the street lights. Until a street levy is passed, city council has stopped the maintenance of any street lights. We have offered to purchase the light bulbs, but they will not allow a city worker change those bulbs. If you would like to voice your opinion, please contact the city’s Director of Public Services, BJ King, at 740-927-0145 or by email at bjking@ci.pataskala.oh.us

NeighborhoodDiYanni Homes: Many of you may be wondering about the empty lots currently owned by DiYanni Homes. The board was approached by a title company to provide the payoff for all the lots. Lot #162, was purchased in late October by an individual. We have not been informed when construction will begin. Monogram Homes will be building the home. We released that lot free from all liens, once we received payment from DiYanni Homes. We were told, the remainders of the lots are going to have a December sale date. We are in the process of confirming the sale and will provide everyone with more information when we receive it.

Notice!!

Please do not use the empty lots for any purpose. Please do not park or leave your personal items on the lots. - Thank you!

Snow Removal!

Per the city’s snow removal policy, road crew’s do not plow or salt subdivisions but it looks like the special circumstances that make Barrington Ridge so beautiful, also makes us eligible for some winter help!  So, please be aware when parking on the streets that snow plows will be attending to our roads.  Let’s all make it a bit easier for the plows to manage our streets.

Association Purpose Statement:
We strive to make Barrington Ridge an enjoyable, aesthetic, and desirable place to live. We seek to do this through social activities, neighborhood beautification, and fulfilling agreements made to neighbors.
